ABOUT
I have always had a passion for sport. I grew up playing rugby, touch and basketball - I loved being physically active. In my last year of high school I was fortunate enough to have received a significant student scholarship with AUT. I used this scholarship to pursue a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation (BSR) degree, majoring in management. I completed my BSR in 2014 at the age of 20. My journey in the fitness industry began as a part time trainer at Strength and Balance, Wairau Road where I taught group fitness classes. I was fortunate to have been offered a Managers position at Burn Fitness in Takapuna, which is a 24 hour gym. I continue to Manage this facility as well as personal train. I have been a trainer for nearly two years and really enjoy building relationships with clients and supporting them to achieve their goals. I pride myself on my friendly approachable persona and my ability to work with people. I have a diverse range of clients who vary in ages and physicality. I believe it is of the utmost importance to recognise a persons strengths and encourage them to do their very best.
